It’s amazing what comes from football clubs after they lose a star player.
In an interview with Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, the AC Milan owner actually has the brass neck to label the Italy striker a “rotten apple” and claim he was bought against his wishes.
I remember he was bought against my advice.
“We have many champions: Menez, Honda, El Shaarawy, Torres, De Jong.
“The base is there. And we no longer have a rotten apple in the dressing room.”
We’re sure Mario won’t be too fussed though. This is coming from a convicted tax evader and general schemer of Italian politics.
