Since joining Manchester City from Wolfsburg in 2011, Bosnia international Edin Dzeko hasn’t exactly set the Premier League alight.

Yes, he has shown moments of true class and finishing prowess, but his inconsistencies along with playing in the same team as the superior Sergio Aguero, means Dzeko has yet to really have his big break.

And we can only hope that City boss Manuel Pellegrini hasn’t seen this video of Dzeko taking part in the crossbar challenge, because quite simply it will only make matters worse for the Bosnian.

Dzeko has 10 attempts to hit the crossbar and set a new record in the UEFA competition.

He starts well enough, but then it all goes horribly wrong as Dzeko can only muster an embarrassingly low 3/10.

Shockingly, that still puts the City striker top of the leader board but with household names like Konyaspor’s Ciprian Marcia and Lithuania winger Arvydas Novikovas involved… that’s hardly surprising:

  1. Embarrassingly low 3/10? Like to see how many you would get.

  2. Clearly whoever wrote this has never played football in his life.
Soccer AM have the crossbar challenge every week with most players struggling to get near it so I’d do your research first pal.
