The Netherlands dropped three crucial points at Iceland on Monday night, their second defeat in three Euro 2016 qualifiers.

It’s not an ideal start for new manager Guus Hiddink, who took over from Louis Van Gaal after the World Cup.

And Netherlands’ captain Robin Van Persie has now openly criticised his teammates, claiming it was a ‘sloppy’ performances from the men in orange.

The pressure is mounting on Hiddink, with the Netherlands sitting third in their group with only three points after three games.

Iceland and the Czech Republic lead the group on nine points, with the Icelanders ahead on goal difference.

Which begs the question, what is wrong with this Netherlands team which makes them unable to dominate a group they should do with relative ease?
